TOSHI’S HOME! Hooray and thank you for all of your prayers and loving thoughts. This is phenomenal news! Here’s the latest update from Toshi’s husband.

“UPDATE: Good news, Toshi and I are home.
For the last couple of days the doctors at KGH have been humming and hawing about whether Toshi was ready for discharge and today they sent her home. She is in what I would call delicate – but stable condition. We expect she will recover and recuperate better at home. The 90-minute car ride home was uncomfortable for her and she was so happy to drive up to our home. She’s asleep on the living room couch as I write this. I brought my editing workstation computer home and will be working from here for a while so I can take care of her. We don’t really need anything at all, just some rest and quiet for a few weeks.
The children won’t be returning home immediately, Toshi’s going to need some recovery time before that happens. But they are doing great staying with our awesome friends Dave and Jen Kurpijeweit. Thanks for your continued prayer for Toshi’s complete recovery over the days, weeks, and months ahead.”
I’m so grateful! (Thank you God!)

About Sharon

I love to write. I love to write myself into being right here right now. Writing releases something in me that needs wings, writing opens doors and windows that I often don't even realize are possible, writing helps me breathe out the dusty old, and to breathe in the new and possible. My hope is that maybe writing here in this blog will bring new light into these dusty old hallways and help me to clear out the thinking processes and mindsets that just don't work for me anymore. I seek to breathe new light and life into the nooks and crannies of a soul that has been feeling somewhat lost and frayed because of the last few patches of road I've had to travel.
