I’m taking a break from my Cuba meanderings to ask anyone and everyone so inclined to please join in this prayer vigil over the next few days for a dear beloved friend of my brother and sister-in-law. I had the privilege of meeting this amazing woman last year while visiting my brother and have been carrying her in heart and prayer ever since. But we need every prayer we can muster here now. Toshi is 43 years old, with two young children, and has been struggling for several years with cancer. Now she’s in the fight of her life. Here is the latest update from her husband, John.
TIME SENSITIVE REQUEST:
Hi everyone, Toshi and I just arrived in Kingston and she is now checked into Kingston General for her 3-4 week stay. We would like to ask something of you all that’s time sensitive. We’d like to ask you to pray very specifically tomorrow and Friday for Toshi’s cure from her cancer. Both tomorrow and Friday, Toshi will receive high dose chemo, the strongest chemo available. Its sole purpose is to kill the lymphoma. Please join us in praying it does. We’re hoping for a great chorus of voices in prayer asking Father to heal Toshi through these treatments. Thanks so much!
Thank you to all who will be joining in. I’ll try to update as possible.
